| We were fishing Pensacola Bay on the north side at 6:30 am this morning with no luck, damn wind. Then we moved to south side channel at 3 Mile by 8:30, picked up some under size grouper, black snapper with one 10" keeper and a few large white trout. We got tired of feeding the pin fish and rock fish so we moved to the south side about 10:00 am. The last spot we fished (THE POND) picked up a triple threat of TROUT within 20 min, didn't think this would happen this late in the day.

The reason you got such good action in that small bayou is that they are in there due to the cool water temps. They get more active as the sun heats the water to their likings... now in mid summer, you will not catch them there because the waters warm and they go to deeper waters during the day, which is why sunrise and sunset will be the time to fish for em.

| I value my bottom paint "NOT Bayou Texar" and wouldn't be bringing them home to eat if so. If you look at page 2, a Couple Of 22"s - for the vision imparied - the secret location disclosed. SEE YA AT THE FISHING HOLE!!!!!!
