Mitch and I got out about 3ish and braved the bay waves fishing Garcon.  Was hoping for a skinny water red but nothing.  Went a tad bit deeper and fished the pilings.  Hooked up with some fighting sheepheads.  Brought 3 home for supper.  Cooked 2 up with the Crab boil, and one grilled on the 1/2 shell with Greek seasoning.

Thanks for the pics and post. Looks like a great dinner in the making. Sheepies are good eating, If I could just figure out a better way to clean them without all the hassel. It seems to always be tough to clean them.

We did one of them on the grille, half-shell style with Greek seasoning - yum yum.  And Lane took the filets off the remaining two, wrapped the filets in cheese clothe and boiled in seasoned water with liquid crab boil; then took the cooked meat mixed with egg and some herbs and bread crumbs - fried it up and ...holy ..some of the best crab cakes I have ever had.  She will have to give you the exact recipe; oh, and the sauce she made, dang makes me hungry just thinking about it.  Sheepies are definitely on my list.
