| going on vacation next week gonna bring my 18ft bass boat to perdido key can anyone tell me what bait to use or lures to throw or maybe some spots to try also i see folks talking about lighted boat docks what bait should i use at night i have never fished in saltwater in my life lol thanks for any help

live shrimp on #2 circle hook with no weight. Watch out for sandbars if you don't know your way around.

I second that about watching out for sand bars. Me and buddie went out in Feburary, our first time ever out in the bay without a guide & I was WOWed as how quick you just run up on sand. Good luck out there
