The last picture is not from our wade but from a local guide Scott..

Anyway the fishing is going of right now, just wanted to say hi to everyone back home. I have been really busy latley so I have not had time to pop in and see how everyone is doing.

Nice work and love the Majek. Can't wait to get over to Texas again!! How'd the Cup tourney go for you?

This is a serious question. I have fished Texas from Galveston to the Mexican border many times and have seen many anglers jump out of their shallow boats(Majeks) to wade fish.

Tell me the advantages and actually why they wade fish so much over there? Trout or redfish or both?

Thanks

Eric the Cup was a disaster.. I was on good fish in practice, but could not fin em during the Tourney...Two goose eggs. I caught one 4lb. fish day 2 but was so upset I didn't even bother to weigh.

As far as the wade fishing here, all's I can figure is why deer hunt with a bow rather than a rifle...(challenge)

That's all I can guess, I know I really do enjoy it personally, it's calm, quiet and VERY RELAXING..

wadeing is a much quieter method of approaching big fish.  Could it be  that all the big trout cant ignore the huge boat so close by? It just seems that i used to catch much bigger fish in my 14 footer.
