| Got out this morning on a hunt for specks. Water was muddy and surprisingly low. I trolled around with my favorite DOA to locate some fish. Was'nt long before I found a nice hole about 6-8' that was loaded with specks. Caught around 30...most under slot range. Ended up taking 5 ranging from 15" to 20". Cold morning..but well worth it.

Nice! Glad to see someone had a good morning. I fished way up Blackwater this morning prefishing for a charter but it was extremely muddy and there wasnt a lot going on. Had to go out to the bay to find some fish.

| Smaller specks tastes about like a white trout to me. The meat is a lot firmer on the larger ones and are excellent table fare.
