Those mirrolures make EXCELLENT colder water trout lures.

Very good pictures. By the foul hooks im guessing they went after them pretty aggressively.

How were you retrieving them?

I don't think they had eaten in awhile!!!!!!!!slow with a twitch then pause...and few on fast retrieve... watched most of them eat!!!!!!!!!had some 20+ tail off at the boat.............

ALSO WAS TOLD THE COMPANY BURNT DOWN... PER THE GUY AT ACADEMY SPORTS

They had a factory in Costa Rica catch fire and ruin some of the machinery. They're still in business, it just might be hard to get certain paternsfor a few months.

Congrats on some great trout fishing! Cold water twitching is about as fun as it gets!

Gosh, you have some beautiful property! I've only had the chance to hun in Alabama (Oak Hill, near Camden) a couple of times and loved it. Hope you see plenty of deer the rest of the season!

Future plot...bull dozier made it...tractor with disk didn't.  Also, we planted 2 weeks before opening gun day due to deaths in both families.  They cross and lay up in the first pic where most of deer are taken.

Great pics, very proffesional! I have also been doing great with the trout recently, but using soft plastics like D.O.A- C.A.L and Saltwater Assasins. Dark colors because I have been fishing darker water and the silouette they cast is a more solid one.

If we don't go then we won't know!

Those are all good baits...I mainly use Doa Glow Shrimp w/Popping cork and 27XLs on flats in the spring/summer time and 27XLs during the winter...main target is specks.  If I change type of fish flounder/reds I'll fish soft baits w/1/2 oz long shank lead heads...Gulp...Assasins etc.

THANKS FOR THE COMMENTS ALL!!!!!!!!

PS... Capt. WES (LOCATION) the same place that you cut me OFF last year!!!!!!!need I say more!!!!!!!!!!! I have a phone...call me if you need details!!!!!!!!!!!
