youll be suprised at how well fishing line will work to pull out a hook. im sure the guy bled like a stuck pig, especially with the whiskey thinning his blood.

Unfortunately, I've had a hook removed from my hand that same way. It really wasn't that bad.

| Lest we forget our own forum adventure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSK7j-9NDTM (Strong language warning) I was the hook remover on this one... Witness the wrong way to do it. The string trick is the way to go.

| One time when I was wade fishing I let the trout I had on get too close and he hung a miro-lure in my calf. He was jumping around and I was jumping around and the miro-lure was holding us together. Since then I break the barbs off all my hooks.
