| I am losing fuel pressure to my 2000 Yamaha 150 2 stroke whenever the boat starts pitching and the power is above idle. The motor will lose power for a second or two and then surge back to where it should be in sequence of going over a swell.. I have checked the fuel primer ball and it is deflated. Motor runs fine when the water is flat. I have tried draining the fuel filter and the ball looks fine. Any suggestions? Thanks, Bart

Assuming your motor is carburated, could be float level, although this would not effect the primer bulb. Could be the pick up in the tank. If it is in the forward part of the tank, rare, and your fuel level is down, it could sucking air.

It sound like your antisiphon valve is causing you problems, Or it could be a kinked fuel line or a very dirty fuel/water seperator with alot of water in it.
