When: Wednesday, November 26 2008 Where: Mingo Ridge out to the Edge Seas: FLAT! Comment: Lots of "weird" stuff today, lol... both of us are sore!*Fish Caught:* KINGS 15 to 18-lbs off floating tomtates (still can't believe tomtates catch kings!), AJs 28 to 30" on butterfly jigs & cut squid dropped down on both carolina & chicken rigs, TRIGGERS, small hooks & small pieces of squid, 13.5 to 14" ALMACOS off jigs MINGOS off squid LANE SNAPPERS 16 to 18" loved squid too AFRICAN POMPANO, juvie, off butterfly jig!! SHARK that had appeared to have no teeth (smooth dogfish?) GAG GROUPER, only caught 1 all day & it was 4" too short CUBAN HOGFISH, 8 to 11", off the small hooks with squid *Some Pictures: (I took a bunch but I will try and weed thru and select a few)* Turtle came by to say hello:
 Pulled out a piece of bait from the Northern Mackerel box and it was pink! wt*?!
 a 14" Trigger - caught consistently off a hard bottom
 a Mr King coming up
 The 11" cuban hogfish (i had to google id these, lol)

Great report . cool pictures and all. You gotta love those AJs.... we went out sunday and every AJs was 1" short/ lots of red snapper, sharks and some trigger fish..'till flipper showed up. I though dolphins were smart fish, but these ones were hooked on my diamond jigs.....talk about pulling drag...they were like 300lbs+ easy ...hooks gave out in all of them...... Fist time I see those cuban hogfish...cool color scheme...nice very nice, oh!, one question what depth did you get those Ajs on....

Fishermon (11/27/2008) one question what depth did you get those Ajs on....225 - 250, they were near the bottom and up in the water column
