| Nothing as great as Eric's and Brant's catch, but my wife wanted another dinner red so I went out for about 3 hrs. 1st line in about 6:25 am, started with top water she-dog, then put in a Cajun Thunder with a finger mullet for a few specs all released. A couple of top water rat reds, a top water Slot @ 22' and then a gulp jerk bait netted me another 4.5lb 24" red. Then I had to go, it's NFL sunday! Total 5 reds 4 specs.

Went to a different spot, but let's say East of Deer Point and West of Navarre. The point is, the fish are moving back in, we didn't see these posts a month ago; enjoy it while they're here.....soon they'll be moving up into the North bays and bayous! Happy fishing.

| NICE CATCH!!!! Your wife doesn't do the fish thing? not to many do!!!!!!!!!!!!or is this boys day out only!!! Maybe you can take her along for some better pic....we have seen your pool shots...how about some action shots on location!!!...I personally don't use a net so I grab the camera instead...I practice good hook set..this gives the fish a 50/50 chance to get away!!!! STILL NO BONES!!!!

155SprtFsh (9/8/2008) Your wife doesn't do the fish thing? not to many do!!!!!!!!!!!!or is this boys day out only!!!Maybe you can take her along for some better pic....we have seen your pool shots...how about some action shots on location!!!...I personally don't use a net so I grab the camera instead...I practice good hook set..this gives the fish a 50/50 chance to get away!!!! STILL NO BONES!!!! On a very rare occassion I take my wife, it's not her thing. I did take her with me Memorial Day the year after Ivan, and she witnessed me land over 25 slot reds all by myself, right here in the sound. I wasn't doing the camera thing then, but I sure was wore out, ..... it was non stop for about 3 hours in one spot! She said she would have never believed it if she hadn't been there. All of my fish have bones in them, so I guess you could call them bonefish, right? PS: Sorry about the 2nd pool shot, best I could do, I had to hustle home to catch the NFL games! I hung out fishing later than I should have, trying to catch a decent size Dinner Red!
