| I got a invite from "Jimmy-Buff-it" and "Voodolounge" to do a little inshore fishing today and Im glad I went!! We started around the jetties at the pass and manage a few decent mangroves a bunch of small grouper and a nice trout. The out going tide was ripin and after Blanton donated about $12 worth of tackle to the jetties we decided to move on to the next spot. Came to the next spot to be greeted by hundreds of freaking mullet!!! I don't think I ever seen that many mullet in a wad before! I snap a few pics but it doesn't show the extreme numbers!

We were able to land another small grouper and a little speckled trout! We decided it was a enough play for a work day and lets hit our last spot and see what happens. We pulled up and dropped anchor and on Jimmys 2nd cast he was bowed up!!!! We started seeing a wide bodied fish and realized we had a good Pompano and Jimmys 1st one at that!
Within 5 minutes Blanton was hooked up!!! Meanwhile I aint catching crap so Im netting fish and taking pictures!!!! Next up was Blanton with a nice sheepie!!
Im sure it wasn't but a few minutes later and Blanton caught another nice Pomp! Now most of you know that Im the kinda guy that goes for quality not quantity! Finally after hours of netting, taking pics and watching my partners jacking up fish I got the bump I was looking for!!!! A few choice words and the catch of the day hit the deck!!!!!!
Here let me enlarge so can see the beauty of this big boy!
This big boy was the smallest yet fattest grouper Ive ever seen!!!! All in all is was a good day on the water and I had some great friends to make it even better!!
