| i have just replaced the thermostat but i still have a continuous alarm going off. Is there something that could be causing an over heat.I ran it yesterday for a few hours with the alarm going off constantly(very annoying). The motor ran fine. When i take the cover off it is hot to the touch but isnt every motor?i imagine the thermostat opens at 185 but i am not sure.Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Jeff

First I would disconnect the temp sensor and if the alarm is still on that means the warning amplifier is bad. If the alarm goes off then you need to get a reading on the actual temp of the head. If it is below 190 then the sensor is bad.

If the alarm does not stop after what sos said, then the oil alarm module is probably bad.
