Decided to do some Father's Day recon along west side of the bay along scenic.  Found tailing reds around the gull point area.  Ran back to the truck to rig up.  Tried bucktails but no takers.  Rerigged with gulp shrimp and bamo!  Hooked a nice big red on first cast.  I knew it was big but I couldn't believe the size once I got him ashore.  Didn't have a camera but I tell you it was about 34" and at least 20 pounds.  Let him go and caught one more but he broke me off.
