We're taking the suggestions from the above topic & working on them today....

The wiring & connections look good. Next we go to check the auto fuse... but the question is: Where is that fuse?!!!! Scott traced the wiring and all that and can't find one..?!

Edit - forgot to add this: The float switch is more like a magnet in a cube...?!!

Just because it should be fused, dosen't mean it is fused.

In following the wire, where did it up? One wire goes to the pump. where did the other go. If it is a factory install it could be fused to the manual side which you said does work. If you have a meter or test light, check for voltage into the switch and then out when you raise the switch. If you can.

One to the pump and the other to the battery...

I think we are going to get a whole new switch that has the auto option & redo the wiring to bypass our manual switch for the 2000.

If it's connected to the battery then I think it is safe to assume the switch is bad. Go to West and get the switch that X Shark put the picture of. The blue inclosed switch by Rule. And put a fuse in line, 5,7,10 amp depending on the pump.
